Antony Jenkins, Founder and Executive Chairman of 10x Future Technologies, spoke at the World’s Top 50 Innovators Codex Talks, held this year at the Royal Society in London.

The three-day event was hosted by Codex CEO Rakesh Rawal.

Antony highlighted three things he believes will define the future of financial services over the coming decades.

“The future is going to be based on digital identity, it is going to be based on data and it is going to be based on distributed systems.”

What is the net effect of all of this?

Well, the first effect is that the customer experience is going to increase exponentially, because everything will be instant, and it will be at a lot lower cost because you are squeezing out all the friction cost and all the rent-seeking that exists in the system today.”
