Diversity and Inclusion

At 10x, we are committed to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive culture.

Our business is about people. We live and operate in a diverse world and at 10x we are embracing the opportunity to ensure our organisation reflects this, both in people and thought. We strive to create an environment responsive to different cultures, groups and in all our interactions with our people, partners, customers, visitors, suppliers, contractors, investors and in the communities in which we operate.

We value diversity. Fundamentally, we believe it is the right thing to do. We also believe it to be critical to our effectiveness, our business success and integral to achieving our strategic objective of being 10x better and 10x better company to work for.

10x recognises the potential that all people bring to the workplace regardless of:

·     Age
·     Disability
·     Gender
·     Gender Reassignment
·     Race
·     Religion or belief or absence of religion or belief
·     Sexual orientation
·     Marital and Civil Partnership status
·     Pregnancy & Maternity

As part of that philosophy, we believe that every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity throughout 10x and not to be discriminated against. We have a zero-tolerance attitude towards bullying, harassment or victimisation of any kind.

We will achieve higher standards than the minimum set out in legislation and we will pro-actively encourage a culture that supports diversity and equal opportunity. As part of this commitment we are a signatory of Women In Finance and will continue to engage in programmes that help drive a diverse balance within 10x and our industry.

Monitoring and review

We will monitor the diversity of 10x and review the implementation of this policy regularly considering its suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. Any improvements identified will be made as soon as possible.

Currently at 10x, 33% of our Leadership Team are female and we commit to ensuring that by 2020 we will increase this to 40% of our Leadership Team. We will support this by:

·  Developing policies to formalise the spirit of flexible working which is a key feature of the 10x values and captured within our Diversity & Inclusion statement;

·  Establishing processes to improve the talent pipeline to drive improvement of diversity in senior roles;

·  Establishing a Women in 10x Network with focus on developing the pipeline for women in Finance, Technology and Fintech industries.

10x is pledging to promote gender diversity by:

·  having one member of our senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion;

·  setting internal targets for gender diversity in our senior management;

·  publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website; and
·  having an intention to ensure the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity.

10x Chief Product Officer Tam Holmes is our nominated member of the executive responsible and accountable for Women In Finance.

“I am extremely proud to commit our organisation to promoting gender equality in the UK and in the Finance, Technology and Fintech industries. As a new organisation driving transformation we have a real opportunity to set the standard and build a positive environment where everyone can thrive and rise to the top.”
