A quarter in the life of a B Corp certified company

10xers Lily and Nikita hold a B Corp symbol for B Corp Month

Our Sustainability & Community Partner, Lily Santurri, shares what 10x has been up to in Q1 as a B Corp certified company.

As we approach the end of B Corp Month and wrap up the first quarter of the year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on our ‘Impact’ agenda so far this year. Since our founding ten years ago, Impact has been one of 10x’s core values, modelled by our founders, supported by our dedicated Impact team and very much driven by many colleagues.

Alongside organizing many of our team get‑togethers, the Impact and People teams help coordinate a wide range of initiatives that support our mission and values. This includes progressing our sustainability efforts, partnering closely with our employee-led networks, expanding training opportunities, coordinating volunteering activities for colleagues, and welcoming students into the office through our ‘Future of Tech’ initiative.

We’re also fortunate to have a colleague in our Sydney team who supports the Impact agenda for our Australian colleagues. While the events and activities in each office naturally reflect local interests, we’re fully aligned in our shared commitment to making 10x a great place to work for everyone.

These activities are a core part of how we earned our B Corp certification to begin with, joining a community of likeminded businesses’ who also want to be a force for good. Joining the UN Global Compact last year has enabled us to learn from an even wider network of businesses, and we very much welcome collaboration and learnings from other businesses on this journey.

Marking cultural and religious festivities

This year, Lunar New Year, Shrove Tuesday and the start of Ramadan all fell within the same week. To acknowledge these important cultural and religious moments, we provided guidance on supporting fasting colleagues and hosted shared meals featuring pancakes and Dim Sum.

10xers on a panel for Future of Tech initiative

Kicking off our 2026 Future of Tech initiatives

Our Future of Tech initiative helps young people from underrepresented backgrounds see themselves working in the industry. We had the opportunity to host over 40 year 10 students from a partner school in our London office. We were incredibly impressed by the talent and enthusiasm they showed throughout the day.

Carbon footprint reporting platform

Collecting data to measure our carbon footprint

We focused on collecting the data needed for our supplier to measure our 2025 carbon footprint – from employee commuting patterns to business travel and cloud‑related emissions. It is a big undertaking, but we believe it is an essential part of our sustainability agenda.

10x Women & Friends network eat pizza

Celebrating International Women’s Day

Working in a sector where women remain underrepresented, supporting our women’s network has long been a priority for 10x. While we usually ‘go big’ for International Women’s Day with guest speakers and lots of attendees, this year we chose to focus on our members – bringing them together over pizza and sharing handwritten messages of support from their managers.

Sefia shares her relections for Eid

Celebrating Eid

To celebrate Eid in the London office, we ordered a spread of Lebanese food from a local restaurant. As the team gathered to enjoy the meal, our Head of Legal, Sefia El Yaakoubi, shared her personal reflections on Ramadan. We rounded off the celebration with sweet treats from fellow B Corp, Biscuiteers.

Hot cross buns and chocolate eggs at the 10x Sydney office

Celebrating Easter

In our Sydney office, Easter celebrations began early with surprise treats in the office, including hot cross buns, coffee and chocolates.

Looking ahead

As the quarter draws to a close, we’re already looking ahead to what’s coming in Q2. Plans are well underway for our annual work experience week, events to mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Pride Month activities and a charity race.

We always welcome ideas on how we can continue strengthening our responsible business journey. If you’re a client, a partner, a supplier or a fellow B Corp, we’d love to hear about your Q2 plans.
