I am so happy that 10x banking has been featured in Linkedin’s 2018 Top UK Startups list. This year’s rankings recognise and celebrate the most sought after businesses to work for by professionals. According to LinkedIn, 10x is among the startups “commanding the attention of top talent”. The team at 10x is incredibly special and unique – I am very proud of them and their passion to make a difference.

The accolade comes at a really interesting time.

So many businesses no matter where they are at in our increasingly analogue-to-digital world are looking at where they want and need to be in 2019 and beyond. It’s perhaps no surprise that the vast majority of companies featured are working to help businesses and consumers better manage their money on the move whenever and however they want. It’s clear too from other companies in the rankings and around the world that technology-led transformation cuts across every part of our lives. At 10x, we are deeply engaged with what people want in their digital lives.

The recognition also comes at an interesting time for 10x.

We are a young firm. We have come a very long way in a relatively short period of time. Like many, we have big ambitions. We have what we believe is quite a unique approach for a business focused on delivering a better way of banking for customers, banks and society.

Antony Jenkins created 10x because he wanted to answer and address two fundamental questions: Why do financial services not work better for customers and why doesn’t technology make banking better?

Our team believes it’s possible. We are mission led and united as a team by a passion for transformation.

10xers have worked in multi-billion-dollar businesses, challenger brands, startups and run their own businesses. I often refer to the depth and breadth of expertise across 10x and the amazing group of founding clients, partners, supporters, investors and collaborators as a coalition of capabilities.

Earlier this year, Neil Drennan joined as our Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for technology development and delivery as we finalise the rollout of our financial services platform for existing and future clients. He joined us from Amazon after previous senior technology and engineering roles that included positions at BBC Worldwide, Virgin Media, ITV, British Gas, Sky and Deloitte.

Neil works with our Chief Product Officer Tam Holmes. Tam, a former head of digital security and fraud at Lloyds Bank, has been with us from the early days and been instrumental in helping us develop our product vision and platform technology as we moved from concept to creation and from design to development. Like many of the those who joined 10x, he brings a deep-seated understanding of banking industry knowledge and a real desire to try different approaches to better solve long-standing challenges.

Our team includes specialists in designing and developing digital financial services, technical architects, coders, artificial intelligence and machine learning experts as well as engineers focused on areas such as development operations, cloud security, mobile and payments technology, as well as project management. We also count among our 10xers, a number of successful authors and entrepreneurs – not bad for a business that is just two years old.

10x is a transformation firm. Building a next-generation, cloud-native B2B SaaS full bank platform. We have fused together the DNA from financial services, big tech and consumer-focused industries. 10x is built for practitioners, by practitioners and with practitioners. To our founding clients I would like to say thank you. We have a shared vision of a very bright future where banking is made 10x better for customers banks and society.

We are building something amazing together.

We’re always looking for amazing talent that is 10x better so feel free to drop us a line at careers@10xbanking.com.
